Meet the Chef... Let super-chef Chris and his wife, Tina Sideris welcome you to their home, The Hourglass Tavern. This warm, hard-working Greek couple has owned this restaurant for thirty-four years. It is no surprise that the art of cuisine comes so naturally to Chris since he has been a part of it from such a young age. Originating from his father’s restaurant in the small village of Leonidio in Greece to the development of his own restaurant, Loucoulos, which means “one who knows how to eat” in Greek, in Athens. Upon arriving to America, he kept his passion for food alive by developing, The Hourglass Tavern. His deep appreciation and expertise for cuisine and flavor continues to thrive through the essence of The Hourglass Tavern.
